Modular Design

The EDIsecure XID 8300 reverse transfer ID card printer was developed with industrial needs mind. Therefore, the 8300 ID printer has several modular options in order to meet the needs of any ID card application. With the bend remedy station you can ensure your identification or security cards conform to standards and are consistent no matter what card materials are used. If your ID card program requires printing on both sides of the card a flipper module can be factory installed making the XID 8300 re-transfer printer duplex capable. The flipper module can also be installed to allow for magnetic stripe encoding. Furthermore, the 8300 ID printer is capable of handling several encoding options such as smart card encoding - contact or contactless chip encoding (Mifare, DESFire, HID iClass, and more) and a variety of chip encoder plug-ins for advanced CEF. For added security and card durability field installable lamination units can be added in minutes for either single-sided lamination or dual-sided lamination.

Utilizing re-transfer over-the-edge printing technology the print head is never in contact with the card, minimizing the risk of damage and downtime.

Diverse security features such as an electronic security lock, Kensingtonlock, dye-sublimation UV ink ribbon for invisible security printing, IPSEC for encrypted data transfer through networks, and Security Erase of black data on used supplies help to secure the environment and cards from counterfeiting and to avoid the misuse of personal information.
