EDIsecure Duplex Inline Lamination Unit (ILM-DS)

The EDIsecure dual-sided inline lamination unit (ILM-DS) is for use with the EDIsecure XID 8300 reverse transfer printer and can be installed easily in the field. Simply attach the unit with the appropriate joining plate to the printer and you are done. By communicating with an infrared interface, the lamination settings or needs for the various card materials are controlled by the printer driver.The unique design allows for simultaneous dual side lamination, which eliminates the need for an external flipper unit and speeds up the lamination process. Equipped with two lamination cartridges and separate temperature control of the upper and lower heat roller, even different laminates can be applied to the card at the same time.

Flexible & secure. The EDIsecure Duplex Inline Lamination Module offer great flexibilty when balancing cost, securty requirements and reliability. The ILM-DS provides one of the fastest card lamination modules in its class due to the portrait mode lamination of speeds upto 16 seconds per card (single side). The ILM-DS module also allows the user to apply a wide range of EDIsecure clear and secure laminates to extend the life of your cards and enhance security. Custum designs or generic holographic foils can easily be added to protect against tampering and fraud. Also, the module can be used with all card materials, including PVC, compostie, ABS, PET or polycarbonate. Adding security the laminator has a Kensington and electronic security locks for the front door to secure access to your supplies.

Ease of use. The user-friendly front loading system makes changing supplies simple and fast, plus the high capacity lamination foils, which include both a patch and overlay, reduces operator interaction for large batches. All lamination parameters and settings are easily controlled through the printer driver making it easy to quickly change settings depending on the needs of your card application.

The laminator is also available as a single-sided (ILM-LS) lamination module
